This quaint little church is steeped in history. In its grounds can
be found historic graves from great literates of the past. The church
in recent years had been suffering greatly from damp and the congregation
was making do with little or no heating and poor lighting.
During the refurbishment's we undertook a design and build role in association
with the Architect's Gault Kay Partnership. The complete lighting, heating
and floodlighting systems were installed making it pleasant surroundings
for all visitors and congregation alike to experience.
An unusual turn of events took place during the excavation of the floor
to provide adequate under floor ventilation and damp proofing. Skeletal
remains were found inside the church and Queens University accompanied
by researches from the Historic Monuments division of the DOE were invited
by the congregation to investigate the remains. After several weeks
excavating the interior of the church floor it was established that
in more recent times the church had been rebuilt after being turned
through 90 degrees and these remains were of many hundreds of year old
parishioners which were in graves at that time.
After a reburial ceremony the building was reopened and rededicated
for the future year.

We undertook a major refurbishment of Fanum House in Great Victoria Street which provides office space over 7 floors for their operations. This building and the adjacent Downshire House were linked using a multmode fibre optic link to maintain state of the art communication systems. The Consulting Engineers Geoffrey Wilkinsons undertook a redesign of all systems excluding the IT and Voice systems for which Coopers had an in-house design team.
All works were undertaken and completed on time and within budget. Further
works on branches throughout N. Ireland followed.

British Embassies provide the bulk of our works abroad. These work grew from us undertaking a project for the European Bank in Almaty, Kazachstan. While on site several faults developed in the British Ambassador's residence which we were pleased to have rectified. This singular event led to a relationship developing between our Company and those in the Foreign Office. Since that we have worked across the world in many regions but mainly in the former Soviet republic's.
The efforts to further these works continues today.
